Keeping You Informed

Sevenoaks Day Nursery is happy to provide parents with information about the daily activities and routines of the Nursery.

To achieve this:

  • We display details of activities and routines on the notice board and doors of the toddler room and pre-school room along with information regarding the day’s food
  • Staff are available at drop off and pick-up times to discuss with parents/guardians the day’s activities, and any other questions
  • Staff are happy to discuss with parents/guardians what food and drink their child has had, and to discuss menus
  • We introduced Famly to the Nursery in 2021. This cloud-based app will replace or augment all of the above and provide parents with much easier access to their child’s progress.
  • All policies are available on request and are included on this website (Useful Information – where they can be viewed and/or downloaded).
  • The complaints procedure includes details of how to contact Ofsted. We believe that most complaints are made constructively and can be sorted out at an early stage
  • We discuss with the parent the procedure that is followed if a child is not collected from the Nursery by an authorised person
  • Part of our Health & Safety Policy explains the procedure to be followed if a child goes missing. This is under the title “Missing Child Policy”
